About the Role:
We’re looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) Architect to lead mission-critical cloud infrastructure initiatives in an AWS/Kubernetes environment. This is an onsite role based in Chicago, ideal for someone who enjoys deep technical challenges, cross-functional collaboration, and driving performance at scale.
Key Responsibilities:

Architect and implement scalable, reliable systems using AWS Cloud Services.

Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters (Amazon EKS) for performance and availability.

Use Dynatrace for monitoring and proactive issue resolution.

Define and enforce SLOs, SLIs, and SLAs for critical services.

Lead and mentor a high-performing team of SREs.

Collaborate with development teams to embed reliability into the SDLC.

Run post-incident reviews and implement long-term solutions.

Automate cloud operations to reduce manual workloads and improve resiliency.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

10–15+ years of experience in SRE, Cloud Architecture, or DevOps roles.

Expert-level knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, etc.).

Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and EKS.

Proficiency with Dynatrace for observability and APM.

Strong understanding of cloud security, resilience, and cost optimization best practices.

Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams.
